The Girl sitting Here is a short drama that addresses the culture of sexual violence against women in the Middle East. It is a cut-of-the-life film about Bahar, a 19 years old girl from a lower class family in Iran. We follow her as she is pushed into a temporary marriage after she cannot repay her debt.
